About me

I grew up with a father who worked as a bailiff, which meant I came into contact with people from all walks of life. From an early age, I realized that it didn’t really matter whether someone was rich or poor, or where they came from, because everyone had their own story and their own reasons for doing what they do.

Those encounters shaped the way I see the world, teaching me to look beyond appearances and to listen with empathy and curiosity. It’s something that has always stayed with me, and it’s what ultimately led me to filmmaking.

As a documentary filmmaker based in Noordwijk, I focus on authenticity and emotion, capturing real experiences and bringing hidden voices into the spotlight. Through film, I aim to give people a platform to be heard and to show that behind every face lies a story worth sharing. I believe cinema has the power to connect us, evoke empathy, and spark meaningful dialogue.

Outside of filmmaking, I’m constantly exploring new creative ideas, drawing inspiration from global cinema, and collaborating with other storytellers to push the boundaries of visual expression.
